Awesome Iron Railing Idea – Check out my Bent Design used by Gatling Construction
In the images you see the use of my Bent Design as a iron railing idea for a home in Mammoth Lakes California. Each section was custom made to fit the space between the posts. Once all the iron pieces are set in place they are attached to the posts and underside of the wood handrail using wood screws.
The entire Bent Design is sculpted using multiple tools to create a seamless design that is modern in style. Once the sculpting is complete the entire piece is finished in a durable powder coat finish. If you zoom into the places where the iron is joined you can see that they look like one complete piece. This is accomplished with multiple layers that are blended together. Through this repeated process an entire section becomes a unique piece of functional iron art.
