Here is my BENT iron art interior railing used in a home in Calgary, Alberta. In the first step, I cut out the old balusters leaving the rails and posts in place. I then took the measurements needed for iron railing inserts. We installed them by simply screwing the top and bottom rail into the wood handrail and trim. In addition, I took the time to strip the old finish from the oak railing and posts and then re-stained it to create a distressed wood finish.

How I create a seamless piece is by welding and blending multiple times at the points where the iron intersects itself. I hand bend my Bent Design from 1/2 inch round mild steel while it’s cold. After that, I lay out every piece of art differently so that no two pieces are alike. This gives you one-of-a-kind pieces of functional iron art to enhance your living space.
All of my iron art railing designs are priced per linear foot. It includes a powder coat finish of your choice, click here to see what colors are available, or contact me to discuss using my iron art for your home.
