When you choose to have my hand wrought iron art railings for your home or outdoor living space you have many hand rail options.
Square Tube Top and Bottom Rail
The first of all the hand rail options is a square tube top and bottom rail. This option is made from 1 1/4″ square tube with a thicker wall for durability and strength. This hand rail option gives you the greatest strength for longer sections of railings. On the end of the rails there is a bracket welded on for you to easily attach to wood or steel posts and walls. The railing sections can be above the floor allowing you to vacuum or dust underneath.

Square Tube Top Rail and Flat Iron Bottom Rail
The square tube top rail and flat iron bottom rail option allow you a solid top hand rail that is easy to grab. It gives you strength as it does not flex easily. With a flat iron bottom rail, you can screw the bottom directly into your floor or trim. Attaching to the trim removes the need for a bracket at the ends of the rails. This option gives you more of my iron art design to enjoy.

2″ wide x 1″ high Top Rail and 2″ x 1/4″ thick Bottom Rail Option

Flat Iron Top and Bottom Rail Hand Rail Options
The flat iron top and bottom rail option give you flexibility when it comes to application in your home. You can leave the section as it is for a clean, simple look. With a flat iron bottom rail, you can screw the bottom directly into your floor or trim. Attaching to the trim gives great strength and adds to the clean look.

With this design, another option is to attach it to the floor or trim and to add a wood handrail to the top as shown here below.

Or it can be attached to a wood handrail and suspended above your floor or trim if you do not want to screw it into the floor or trim.

Here it is used with the flat iron bottom rail raised off the floor by 3″.

On your deck or outdoor space raised off the deck surface allowing for excellent drainage of rain or snow.
