I’m Cam Harris

I create amazing metal art that becomes one of a kind functional art pieces and inspirational sculptures that are as unique as you are. I think it’s wrong that too many people think art is simply an object that hangs on a wall to break up the space. I’m out to prove that art can be inspirational and life-changing when it’s seen and used every day in all spaces of life.

I am married to the love of my life and am the father of two amazing young adults who are artists in their own rights.

My passion for iron art started over 25 years ago after the first time I began bending and twisting it to make my first piece of iron art. As the years have passed the passion for my art has advanced to combining iron with wood, glass, stone and concrete. Each of these materials possess their own unique character, depth and texture, and by combining these materials more original art is created. The characteristics of these materials vary greatly from piece to piece.

Functional Art

People ask me, what do you mean by functional art? It is simply art that not only inspires you and enriches your life but it also has a function like a railing, table, chair, bench, headboard, wine rack and so much more. When I see a wall at the head of a bed I see a blank canvas for a piece of art to be against the wall where most people spend a good part of their lives.

You have your own uniqueness and style and you want to reflect that in your home and workspace. My one of a kind, hand made functional art pieces will do just that and set you apart from everyone else.
