Stair Railing Project in Maspeth New York was for a client who commissioned two Bent wrought iron railing pieces to replace dated wood railing in their home. By providing me with the stair dimensions and the angles for the stair piece I created my Bent iron art pieces to fit perfectly in the space.
Made using a flat iron top and bottom rail it was easy to install for the client. The Bent design between the top and bottom rail is made from solid 1/2″ round mild steel, welded and blended so that each intersecting piece becomes seamless creating a solid functional iron art piece. The Bent iron art compliments the natural beauty of the wood posts, trim and stairs. It is finished in a powder coat for long lasting durability and beauty.
