The scroll iron art bench

The scroll iron art bench began with a piece of reclaimed pine that was sitting in my studio covered in dust. With a slight twist to the wood the base needed to be built to allow for the unevenness. The base began to be made from individual hand bent iron and was finished with a hand painted soft iron finish. It now resides with a patron in Pennsylvania USA. This art piece has been SOLD. This table base has a hand bent iron base and was designed for a square top custom made for a client. Shown here is a 10 mm thick glass top with a polished edge in a 44" square size. Great for small dining spaces or patio, it can be made taller to suit stool heights.

Here is our latest wrought iron railing design on a custom deck in Calgary, Alberta. The client contacted me and provided the dimensions between the wood posts. From there I created my design in a 42" high railing. The steel was finished in a midnight black powder coat to ensure they will last a long time in the outdoors. Can you find any straight lines in nature

As I sit and look at nature I cannot find anything created by God that has straight lines. Can you find anything with straight lines? The only straight lines I see are those made by man. Is that why we sit and stare out our windows? Do we long to leave the straight lines of the walls of our homes and offices and be outside among the curves and flowing imagery created by the eternal artist God himself?
